How are you doing. In our ninth kanji lesson we are going to learn 5 new kanji: 小大赤青口. Let’s go!

Examples:

小 (しょう) – small, low
- 小せつはすきですか。(しょう)

大

大 (だい) – big, large

大 (たい) – big, large

おお – big, large
- 大水は二、三日でひくでしょう。(おお・みず・に・さん・にち)

大きい (おおきい) – big, large (i-adjective)
- 大きさは大小まちまちである。(おお・だい・しょう)

大いに (おお)いに – much

(*) patina is a tarnish produced by the oxydation of bronze and similar metals.

口 (こう) – mouth, opening
