Japanese Lesson – Hiragana 5

Hello Everyone,

It’ is time to learn a few more hiragana: なにぬねの!

I hope you did take our first practice lesson to get further hand on the 20 first hiragana you have learnt!

Hiragana た to ほ

This hiragana is pronounced: [na]

It has 4 strokes:

 

Exercices:

  • Write 10 times the character な in a row.
  • Write 5 times the word かたな [katana] / katana (sword) /
  • Write 5 times the word いなか [inaka] / countryside /

This hiragana is pronounced: [ni]

It has 3 strokes:

 

Exercices:

  • Write 10 times the character に in a row.
    Note: に [ni] means / two /
  • Write 5 times the word おに [oni] / ogre, demon /
  • Write 5 times the word あに [ani] / older brother /

This hiragana is pronounced: [nu]

It has 2 strokes:

 

Exercices:

  • Write 10 times the character ぬ in a row.
  • Write 5 times the word いぬ [inu] / dog /
  • Write 5 times the word こいぬ [ko inu] / puppy /

This hiragana is pronounced: [ne]

It has 2 strokes:

 

Exercices:

  • Write 10 times the character ね in a row
  • Write 5 times the word あね [ane] / older sister /
  • Write 5 times the word かね [kane] / money /

This hiragana is pronounced: [no]

It has 1 stroke:

 

Exercices:

  • Write 10 times the character の in a row.
  • Write 5 times the word いのち [inochi] / life, lifespan, fate /
  • Write 5 times the word きのう [kinou] / yesterday /
