This hiragana is pronounced: [ha]

It has 3 strokes:

Exercices:

  • Write 10 times the character は in a row.
    Note: は [ha] means / tooth, teeth / or / leaf / (konoha in Naruto)
  • Write 5 times the word はな [hana] / flower / or  / nose /
  • Write 5 times the word はは [haha] / mother /

This hiragana is pronounced: [hi]

It has 1 stroke:

Exercices:

  • Write 10 times the character ひ in a row.
    Note: ひ [hi] means / day / or / fire /
  • Write 5 times the word ひこうき [hikouki] / aircraft, airplane /
  • Write 5 times the word ひとつ [hitotsu] / one (count, quantity) /

This hiragana is pronounced: [fu]

It has 4 strokes:

Note: The pronunciation of ふ is closer to [fu] than [hu]

  • Write 10 times the character ふ in a row.
  • Write 5 times the word ふたつ [futatsu] / two (count, quantity) /
  • Write 5 times the word ふね [fune] / ship, boat /

This hiragana is pronounced: [he]

It has 1 stroke:

  • Write 5 times the word へた [heta] / unskillful, ankward /

This hiragana is pronounced: [ho]

It has 4 strokes:

Exercices:

  • Write 10 times the character ほ in a row.
  • Write 5 times the word ほうせき [houseki] / jewel, precious stone /
  • Write 5 times the word ほし [hoshi] / star /
  • Write 5 times the word ほうし [houshi] / desired, wished for /
