Hello Everyone,

Ready for 5 new katakana? Today we are going to learn characters: ナ, ニ, ヌ, ネ, ノ. Let’s go!

This katakana is pronounced:

It has 2 strokes:

 

Exercices:

  • Write 10 times the character ナ in a row.
  • Write 5 times the word コーナー / corner /.
  • Write 5 times the word ナイト / night / or / knight /.

It has 2 strokes:

 

Exercices:

  • Write 10 times the character ニ in a row.
  • Write 5 times the word テニスコート / tennis court /.

This katakana is pronounced:

It has 2 strokes:

 

Note: Take care not to confuse ヌ [ぬ] and タ [た].

  • Write 10 times the character  in a row.
  • Write 5 times the word カヌー / canoe /.
  • Write 5 times the word ヌード / nude /.

It has 4 strokes:

 

Exercices:

  • Write 10 times the character ネ in a row
  • Write 5 times the word ネクタイ / necktie /.
